Twelve Baubles Each With Their Own Design.
The baubles for these Christmas ornament quilts offer all sorts of blocks, and fabric fun. The colorful mini quilt puts nine quilty baubles on display for your table, or use as a wall hanging. Make the sweetest bauble coasters to match, with a mini modern loop. Grab your favorite charm pack and make up a set for yourself. Great for gifts too!
There are nine block designs to make in the mini. Choose your favorites and make up a set of six coasters for the perfect gift. Baubles are made using a fussy cut snowball for the center, a chevron, star block, strips across and diagonal, and you can go totally scrappy. One bauble is made up with a nine patch and any mix of prints can be used. When making the baubles it’s hard to choose a favorite, they’re all so pretty. The nine bauble mini quilt is a finished size of 16″ x 16″.
The pattern Vintage Holiday by Camille Roskelley is also available as a quilt to drape across your sofa through the holidays. A charm pack with rich coordinated reds make up a striking quilt. The ornaments are 12″ blocks and sew up really quick. Blocks include pinwheel baubles, stars, diagonals… Reposition strips to make a zig zag, or lay all of the strips in the same direction. Make your own design using your creativity. The Vintage Holiday pattern started as a quilt along. See the baubles on Flickr here.
These huge 12 inch pieced bauble blocks can be made any way you choose using scraps or any fabric of your choice. They’re so easy even a beginner can make them. Make three across as a table runner, or three down as a wall hanging. Each block takes on a different look entirely, and you’ll have family and friends trying to choose their favorite.
