Use Any Fabric For This Mini Wall Hanging To Brighten A Dreary Wall Space.
With this clever design the results are all in the fabric. Using a simple arrangement of half square triangles and flying geese, the layout creates stunning results for a mini quilt than can be used as a wall hanging or table mat. Simply choose your fabrics and follow the color chart.
This mini quilt consists entirely of half square triangles and flying geese. The largest piece being 3 1/2″ square makes this delightful wall hanging a perfect scrap buster. Use a mix of medium and small floral prints to create a soft ambience. Then modernize with a solid white zig zag right down the middle.
Using florals for a softer feel makes a pretty table mat for your sewing room. I like to work on a mat as it kind of keeps everything together while busy with a project. Besides it looks great and is a nice addition to your sewing room accessories. Use florals and mixed textures, then finish with simple straight line quilting and create small diamond shapes.
Create a colorful playroom feel using solid crayola colors, a lovely gift for teacher. Put your blocks together and have fun with random quilting. These mini quilts make the nicest gifts.
This design is just one of the mini quilt projects found in Sedef Imer’s books “18 Sweet and Modern Mini Quilts and More”, available for purchase here.
