Mulberry Lodge Log Cabin Style Only Needs Three Prints and a Solid

Mulberry Lodge Quilt Brings a Haze Of Striking Color To Your Room.

The design of the “Mulberry Lodge” quilt quite unique using a log cabin style block. With only three prints and a solid, create a dramatic result. The rectangles to create the log cabin blocks are made broader showcasing one of the fabrics as a feature. Half log cabin blocks are rearranged providing maximum appeal.

Choose any fabric for this one. The design is a little unique with the half log cabins. White solids make the feature fabric and design pop! I can see the feature fabric being the anchor for the color and tone choice. That would likely be the color that compliments your decor most. The design calls for broad lines in white or a solid of your choice to match your design.

As a throw in the lounge or in the bedroom, the striking blocks fall beautifully when draped, emphasizing feature colors and prints. Make one or two extra blocks and make up a couple of throw pillows to match. If the strong borders are all white, make up a couple of crisp white pillowcase covers and use the feature fabric for the trim!
