Pretty Hearts Mini Quilt And A Baby Chick Block Pillow To Add.
As Valentines approaches with a buzz of romance in the air, you might be planning a small Valentines weekend just for fun. Make a couple of mini projects to add some hearts decor. Red and pink hearts are so easy to create in quilts, whether toppers, throws, wall hangings, or pillows, the bright colors will set off any decor. Makes a nice change and some of the heart quilts are too pretty to put away after a Valentine or special occasion. Use them all year round. Hearts are never out of place and always create a welcoming sort of feel.
Make this mini quilt (or two) for your entrance table. Add a baby chick hearts pillow for the sofa, or on the porch swing. A few colorful hearts around the home brightens anyones day and all who visit.
Lori from Bee In My Bonnet came up with this adorable Baby Chick block that includes a small heart on the bottom left of the block. The first Chick block measured 6″, and went on to become an adorable little Farm Fresh throw quilt. A pretty girl baby quilt, or nice for a boy in blue. Chicks are always adorable on baby quilts. The pattern is available in Lori Holts Farm Girl Vintage book. The heart in the Baby Chick block is perfect for a Scrappy Happy Valentines mini quilt!
Next, size up the Baby Chick block to a 12″ block and make this adorable throw pillow. Make the Hexie pillow, they look adorable together and create a bright and happy welcome.
The sweet heart block which is part of the Baby Chick block is perfect for the Scrappy Happy Hearts mini.
The mini finishes at 10″ x 10″ and makes a quaint table topper, or small mug rug. Make a couple for around the home, they’re such fun.
