Your Next Star Quilt A Weekend Project Using Just Three Charm Packs.

Beautifully balanced, nine charm square blocks background the bright stars of this quilt. If stars are one of your favorite make up this quilt with hardly any cutting using charm squares and a couple of jelly roll strips. A super easy week-end project. This tutorial shows how easy it is to make a star block using charms.

 

Choose your favorite charm packs, find some left over white jelly roll strips, or dig into your stash and go scrappy cutting up 5 inch squares. Solid white or ivory are perfect to make the stars shine. Abandoned charm packs are just waiting for this quick week-end quilt.

If using yardage from your stash, cut a mix of 128 x  5″ squares. You may already have a 5 inch stack put away for the right project, along with left over pre cuts to add saving a little time. Finished block size 13 1/2″ X 13 1/2″. Make a total of 16 blocks for a quilt size 68″ X 68″ square.
