Charmed Triangles Baby Quilt

Clever use of fabric for this triangles baby quilt is soft. Pink and grey are always a favorite for a girl baby quilt. Use the pattern and replace with blue just the same. Create a diamond pattern using charm squares.

Use  5″ squares to cut diagonally and pair color squares with white or grey. Finished size 45″ x 45″.

As an overview to get started here are the fabric requirements

• 32 – 5” Squares or 1 (42 square) Colored Charm Pack
  32 – 5” Squares or 1 (42 square) White on White Charm Pack
• 3 ¼ Yards Backing Fabric
• 3/8 Yards Binding Fabric (2 ¼” Strips)
• 3 ¼ Yards Cotton Batting

Pair up white and color squares.

 

That’s it. That’s your block!

Layout the squares into the diamond pattern pictured below. Make sure you don’t have too many of the same color ways right next to each other.

Note how block are arrange to create large open diamond shapes, and smaler solid diamonds between. Prints add that textured, nice dimensions.
