The Christmas runner combines the classic buffalo check pattern with festive holiday stars and trees. The geometry of the buffalo check made up of just a few fabric colors, makes it a perfect backdrop for the nine patch stars. Select favorite holiday prints and then fussy cut some of them so that pops of Christmas messages appear in the nine patch. Compliment the yuletide scene with evergreen trees for dimension and color balance.

Get away with just 1 charm pack or 2 mini charm packs, or scraps to yield (48) 1.5” squares. The runner fabric requirements are often so small, you may have much of what you need right in your stash.
