This sampler quilt is comprised of 24 blocks, each unique and providing a playful display of fabric. Whip together a 6 1/2” Maple Star block featuring favorite prints. It’s super fun to choose your blocks and ponder fabric!
Maple Star is just one the blocks from a sampler quilt, Summer Moon, a great start to summer quilting. A unique star block and super fun to construct. you could easily put blocks together with some sashing to make a small quilt that could be used as a table topper or baby quilt!
Summer Moon Block Of The Month book is part of a quilt along together with the Fat Quarter Shop, where you can watch video’s on ‘how-to construct’ for each block, where designer Carrie Nelson gives tips for success on each block.
The book includes each made in three different sizes: 5”, 6 1/2” and 8” unfinished, and shows the finished quilt in two different color ways using current fabric collections.
Follow Carrie’s instructions to make the Summer Moon sampler quilt, which measures 70.5″ x 78.75″, or use your imagination to create endless projects with these beautiful patterns. Summer Moon will make a stunning Holiday Quilt. Carrie will be making hers a Scrappy Christmas!
