A Christmas Wreath Mini Quilt To Treasure
A Mini Quilt For The Wall Or A Pretty Candle Mat
A project that uses up scraps and turns them into something useful, this indoor wreath that can also be used as a table topper, and perfect for candle displays and such to add a festive touch to any room.
Prints are the key to the scrappiness of this charming Christmas Wreath. That holiday project you’ve been thinking about making suddenly seems like a possibility. With the choice of a little hand quilting, finish it on the go. Included in the paper piecing pattern is a coloring template, and the wreath is displayed in pretty country prints.
The pattern provides for a mini wreath finished diameter 20″. Head to your fabric scrap bin for colour inspiration, or stick with a collection. Enlarge the template to make a Christmas Tree skirt!
Xanthe of Wife Made wanted this mini quilt to be more than just a picture of a wreath on a quilt, and the additional element of a hole in the middle, really gives it that feel! The inner edge of the center is hand-bound using single fold bias binding, whereas double fold bias binding is used on the outer edge.
This charming Christmas Wreath is available as a free pattern.
