Start off with nine 4 3/4 ” squares of cream assorted prints, cut diagonally twice in an X giving you 36 triangles in total. Repeat for brown assorted prints. To assemble the blocks sew two assorted cream print triangles and two assorted brown print triangles in pairs. Then simply join the squares to make an hour glass block. The block should be four inches square. Repeat to make 18 hour glass blocks in total.

Lay the blocks in three rows and sew the blocks to form a rectangle.

Position the holly and berries (or your choice of appliques) on the bag body and fuse pieces into place.
