Use Up Left Over Jelly Strips
Stitching jelly strips are fun and relaxing. Simply choose your combinations and start stitching! For most pre cut quilts there is very little cutting and the quilt top is beautifully done in a day.
Put together prints and solids. Solids can be used as accent colors to pick out your focus print or theme. The quilt shown below was made from a 42 strip jelly roll put together to play up those red roses.
Over at ‘The Mushroom Cap’ Amira provides this delightful free jelly roll quilt tutorial. The design uses every strip.
To finish the last of that bundle of jellies, a coin backing to tie everthing in!
The pattern tutorial is offered free however sign up with email is required.
There isn’t much that could go wrong with this delightful throw. You will of course have to stitch all the jelly strips together to create your own beautiful design to put on display!
