I love being able to see what’s inside and what I’m searching for, and this wide opening pouch makes everything easy to find at a glance. This handy pouch can be used for cosmetics but it’s really handy for sewing accessories on the go. Use for storage, or a take along when finishing a project, or off to a retreat. The fun colors and trendy design will catch everyone’s eye.

 

The pattern includes coloring sheets to test out color schemes. The design is paper pieced with templates already mirrored for easy color placement. Print out the paper piece templates and label each piece by color. This helps to make sure they all end up in the correct place!

Laura@Kittens And ThreadsUse tracing paper to paper piece making it super easy to line up the fabric. Remove the paper, give it a good press, and trim the block to the required size to make the bag. Laura’s download pattern from Kittens and Threads is for the top of the purse pattern. It’s made to fit a medium size pouch and can easily be enlarged if you would like. The fun block can be used for lots of projects such as a mini quilt or mug rug. Once pieced, the block is cut to 12″ x 4.5″.
