The baskets have a rectangle base for a ‘roomier’ basket and would also be a nice addition to your sewing room.The nesting basket can be used outside of the large basket, and the mini quilt makes a handy sewing mat for small projects.

Embellish with vintage embroidery in one or two of the blocks, the pattern includes embroidery tutorials.

The patchwork mats are adorable, made with leftover fabric from the baskets. A total of 16 x 3 1/2″ squares make a quaint bedside mat, or add 2 squares to each corner to hang it on the wall.

The baskets are so handy, and the inner can just as well be used as a second basket for something else. But I love the idea of the inner nesting basket, for smaller trinkets and such.
