Christmas Tree Wall Hanging Make Your Own Baubles.

While there are heaps of Christmas tree wall hangings to make with each just as beautiful as the next, this wall Christmas tree is totally surrounded by striking stars. The stars pop in red and truly elevate the beauty of the tree. Have fun making your own baubles and set them in place to form the shape of the tree. The bow on top is so quaint. This Christmas tree wall quilt truly has a special feel about it. Choose any color to make the stars. Imagine then stars in green with red and white center squares. While the baubles are perfect in green to make up the tree, any fun Christmas prints would do. Each bauble could tell a Christmas story. I can’t think of anything more fun!

This wall quilt would also be lovely on a table.

The quilting is perfect for the theme of this quilt with lots of swirls and circles around the tree. Look a little closer and you’ll notice the Holly quilted in the open spaces.

The swirls and circles are the snow and is so eye catching. Beautiful idea for the background.

The finished quilt size is: 36 1/2″ x 36 1/2″. The Star block size is 9 1/2″ (unfinished). The star blocks are being used for the border. To make the star block Julie suggests starting with an oversized unit and then trim it down to perfection with the ruler. For the backing fabric 1 1/4 yard of your favorite Christmas fabric.
