Sundae Petals Makes This Seasons Scrap Buster

Use up a lot of pieces of really good fabric, too good to throw away. This delightful quilt makes up a party of Sundaes from Spring through to Summer. Easily customize the pattern and stitch up just eighteen baskets setting the scene with a table topper, or table mat.

 

Inspired by a favorite treat for summer fun, go scrappy or choose a playful fat quarter. What a perfect way to showcase your favourite fabrics, or use up some of your scraps

 

For the full size quilt of 51″ x 51″ select fourteen fabric pieces 1/4 yard each for tiny Dresden petals. Smaller scraps fabric are suitable for the dresdens. Carol Shriver chose Polka dots to make up these delightful Sundae cups.

The finished quilt size can be adjusted by adding or omitting borders and sashing
