Start by choosing a yard of large-scale rose print, floral or print of your choice for the center square. Match fat quarter fabrics that go together well with the large scale blooms. You’ll be needing 3 of the same colors but with different values. To complete the block find pinks, or your color choice, of two values to accent the florals. The third value is used for the border.

The design is perfect for big prints and will provide a splash of color in the room. Soft colors make the prettiest baby quilt, while something bold in blues and greens would make an stunning throw on the porch bench.

The finished size, 36″ x 48″, the entire quilt is made of four squares down and three across. Add extra blocks to increase the size for a splash of spring florals in the bedroom.
