Home For The Holidays Sweet Christmas Ornaments Or Any Time Of Year
Scrappy House Ornaments Don’t Take Long To Make.
I love these cute little fabric house ornaments. Make a set to display in basket. Bright and colorful, with the right fabric they could be used as a Christmas ornament, or a gift for anytime of the year. Stuff with polyfill for a pin cushion, or fill with lavender for a sweet gift.
Any bits of fabric will do. If making as a set to put on display, use a neutral linen/cotton blend, or cotton quilter’s linen for the house background. I love the sweet bird, and that one with the cat in the window! You can have so much fun making these. Use fabric with numbers, or fabric selvage for the house number, and if making as a sewers gift, that tape measure print is perfect for the chimney!
Easily applique the window, door and house number using Wonder Under, and for the quaint finishes, embellish with miniature pom pom, ric rac, or any bits of trim you might find in your sewing trinkets. Hang your ornament on a tree, doorknob, wall or stocking hook.
