This Mystery quilt was a fun project by American Patchwork and Quilting way back in 2011, unfolding surprise 9″ blocks, each one as striking as the next. The quilt blocks are fun and easy, even for a beginner. Try out new designs, practice piecing skills, play with fabric and also quilting. The blocks can be made with scraps. Make a stunning new quilt!

A total of 8 different blocks make a finished quilt size 55 1/2″ x 73 1/2″. Included in the free pattern, is the setting, border and finishing instructions.

A combination of reproduction prints and solids will make a cheerful quilt. These fat quarter friendly blocks are fun to play with, coordinating colors and prints. A set of 3 will make a stunning table runner, or stitch up a wall quilt using any choice of blocks.
