Why not give this topper a try made by Krantis who shared her idea on Instagram.

Krantis constructed the 6″ flower blocks from the pattern found in Lori Holts Bee In My Bonnet book. Then for the scrappy center,  36 x 2 1/2″ squares which resulted in a 12 1/2″ square. The completed top makes the prettiest topper for Spring!

Make up your own design using a free tulip pattern found here. Tulip blocks are a finished height of 13 1/2″, and you will have to increase the center to accommodate the number of tulip surrounds.

To fit the length of 12 1/2′ scrappy center square just right, you’ll be needing the 6″ Tulip block found in Lori Holts book Quilty Fun: Lessons In Scrappy Patchwork.
