Throw Pillow With Sailboats For A Seaside Scene

Sailboat quilt pattern adapted to make a peaceful pattern for a throw pillow. A mix of light and dark blues for the boat, and to add a special feel, mermaid print fabric in the mix. The border is light blue, aqua… with little white Polka dots which are like the bubbles of sea foam. Add a dark blue and white nautical stripe binding.

The basis of the sailboats came from the Final Nautical pattern which is a free download below. Then Kerri just changed it up a bit doing scrappy sailboats.

 

Then added a strip of Mendocino Swim Class and Underwater Sisters. So easy and so clever. What a great idea. Then quilt, do the backing and binding.
