Timeless Log Cabin Quilt With Hidden Stars In The Sashing
Log Cabin Hidden Stars Quilt Beauty
This log cabin quilt in all it’s beauty only uses one jelly roll. This easy Log Cabin quilt pattern features eye-catching stars that are hidden until you sew the blocks together. I love the colours of the fabric. The deep wine red with rich dark green give this quilt a depth that is so perfectly complimentary to this quilt pattern.
The pattern, ‘Log Cabin Hidden Stars’ is from Pam Lintotts Jelly Roll Quilts. Beautiful design yet so simple. Stitch the Log Cabin Hidden Stars quilt pattern quickly and easily with just 1 pack of 40 (2 1/2″) Jelly Roll strips and yardage. The pattern is not designed purely as a Christmas project, although the fabrics Anja used for this quilt has become a most appealing Christmas quilt.
The quilt is a total of sixteen blocks finished. The finished quilt size is 60″ x 60″. The entire quilt is made from some yardage and one jelly roll!
The pattern is easy to follow and goes together very quickly. The fabric speaks the language of the quilt, creating ambience, depth and dimension. The design is timeless.
White stars pop with the colors in this quilt. The dark reds and greens are velvety and just right for the holiday season. It is amazing how the fabric brings out the personality of a quilt.
Also available in a kit. If you love the colors of the feature quilt, why not ask Jane at ‘We Do Quilts’ to help select the correct colors.

Here is a close up of four log blocks assembled by Lanie Crewe at Quilt With Us. It’s exciting to see how the hidden star appears with the assembly of the four blocks. A star is born! Isn’t it beautiful. Imagine the pleasure as each star appears. What delight!
