A New Idea To Change Almost Any Baby Quilt Into A Cozy Cuddle.

This Menagerie baby quilt pattern is nothing like a soft fluffy quilt, yet using the design and playing it up by adding some Cuddle Classics fabric brings it to another dimension. Using a simple fourway color design, changing fabrics, and adding a few strips of Kozy Cuddle, the quilt becomes your most cuddly yet.

The pattern covers the pieced or appliqued method. Shifting the the placement of the squares around to make up the blocks is great for a bit of creative fun. Blocks are so simple to sew up. Piece the block and block borders and you’re ready to sew. The pattern includes the flip and sew method, a huge time saver.

Use the Cuddle Classics fabric as suggested, or use any fabric of your choice. The design is based on four prints. With twelve, 12″ blocks the top sews up quick and the quilt is a nice easy size to work with. Use Minky Rose Cuddle strips in between as well as for the border for snuggle. Add a few strips of Cuddle Dimple in Snow for a little extra charm, and Ooh La La Cuddle (pink floral) to add a pretty touch!

For the backing use Classic Damask Cuddle Black/Snow. The damask printed minky fabric has an extremely soft 3mm pile that’s perfect for a huggables. Use the same damask for the binding to tie in.

Check stash for fabrics that you would like to use. Add two textured cuddly fabrics like Minky Rose Cuddle and Cuddle Dimple in Snow to create that cuddle texture.

This is the pattern available for download, then simply change to the fabrics of your choice and add cuddly fabric strips and borders. The layout helps to see cuddle fabric placement to start planning right away!
