A simple table runner becomes striking with colorful petals that pop against a crisp white background. Choose fabrics for the season, then whip up coordinating napkins to complete the table setting.

 

Purple dots and multi-color pinstripes create a Spring haze, or choose fabric to match decor. Petals can be made in Holiday prints, or find Autumn fabrics to suit the season for a quick decor change.

The pattern instructs an easy freezer paper method for quick petal appliques, with batting in the center to give the petals a little extra pop.

There’s plenty of room for quilting. Swirls create a happy Spring feel. It’s the perfect opportunity to practice some free motion quilting.
