Tote Your Favorite Charms

This patchwork tote is a beautiful way to use charm squares or cut your own 5″ squares from fabric or scraps. A roomy bag to shop fabric, and just the right size for a weekend sewing excursion. The ties are pretty, and functional, providing some closure, and also to make it larger when needed. There is an inside pocket for keys, mobile phone, or sewing tools!

 

 

If you love charm pack projects, the bag provides the fun part of laying out the charms until you get the effect you want. Colors are all beautifully colour co-ordinated and the finished bag looks amazing.

Cut your 5″ squares from fabric, and if using left over charms, place some of the colors you don’t like, that will end up underneath the bag. When placing, if you find you have two squares that are pretty but don’t go well together, they can be set apart.

Make one for a quilting or sewing retreat, and use sewing theme fabric. Everyone will want one!
