A Weekend Project For Some Quick Spring Decor

Put blooms on your table to celebrate Spring with this fun flower table runner. If you’re a little behind with your seasonal sewing, this quick to piece runner with cheerful flowers can be on your table in a weekend.

 

Made up of two large flower blocks that are super easy and quick to piece, using traditional piecing methods. 18 inch flower blocks are alternated to create the design, and you could easily make a one block tray mat and give it as a gift with flowers from the garden!

Huge blocks show off prints in small to medium print florals. That bright yellow for center of the flowers is just adorable, a gingham backing to compliment sweet country flowers.

Choose any colors you like to make your flowers, they don’t have to be pink and blue, they would be fun in a rainbow of colors. A row of red flowers would make a striking table topper, and could even be taken out for the Holidays.

Designed by Lindsey Weight of Primrose Cottage Quilts, the runner is a finished size of 20″ 52″, the length can easily be adjusted to suit the table size.
