Charm Pack Rag Holiday Table Runner Anyone Can Make
Soft And Inviting Raggy Quilted Holiday Table Runner
Anyone can make this rag holiday table runner. The raggy edges, make the runner look a bit sort of ‘snowy’. Easily made for the festive season using Christmas prints, or a fun mix of red, green and white. This pretty table runner was made using fabrics from Moda’s Countdown to Christmas, a charm pack favorite from way back in 2011. While exactly the same fabric may not be available, there are so many to choose from.
Use 5″ charm squares, or simply cut 24 x 5″ squares from holiday fabric of your choice. Sort to find contrasting colors. Any fabrics in red, green, and white, spotty, snowflakes and baubles, or any of your favorite Christmas fabrics prints. Arrange the squares until you like the display.
While there are heaps of rag quilt tutorials around this one is super easy. Quilt with a cross, then sew the blocks together in rows, it’s very easy, almost anyone can make one. The runner is stitched using a quilt as you go method and the runner can be made in an afternoon. Adjust the size by simply adding more squares. Size up to a throw or any size you like.
Choose any fabric for the squares and use the table runner all year round, from fall to spring, or match any decor.
