Emily’s Wedding Quilt A Special Keepsake

A Delightful Fat Quarter Friendly ‘Emilys Wedding Quilt’ In Thirties Prints.

This pretty and colorful wedding ring style quilt has a new spin using a combination of the 54-40 or Fight quilt block and the Shoo Fly quilt block. If you’re up for a challenge this striking quilt is rewarding with a unique design at it’s prettiest using thirties reproduction prints.

The block is fun to make and using any fabric will be just as beautiful. Liz Porter pieced from as many reproduction prints as she could gather at a fabric exchange. Then modernised the quilt by adding four colorful borders in coordinating solids. You might have a collection of fat quarter reproduction prints in your stash or organize your own fabric exchange.
