Sew Your Own Bunny Drawstring Bags

It’s the perfect time of year to be sewing something new and fresh. Celebrate the season and make these super cute bunny bags for Easter! Kids love them too!

 

 

Anyone can make a couple of these bags in an afternoon, and they’ll be ready in time for the Easter holiday! They’re are perfect for collecting chocolate eggs. Add a label, as they might well become a treasured keepsake, special memories of happy times.

They’re sweet gifts for grown ups too, bunnies are well loved, and the bag can be used for trinkets after. If you’re gifting a friend who sews, pair with a chocolate and a sewing treat.

Use any fabric, even scraps since the bag requires just 7″ of fabric x 2, and a little more in a contrasting fabric for the ears. Use the free template provided here, the ears are a really good shape. Make the bag larger of you choose, by simply adjusting the sizes of the template cut outs.
