Make A Bunny Quilt For Any Time Of Year
Everyone loves bunnies, even the kids! Cute bobtail bunnies make the sweetest quilts, and the blocks can be used to make a pillow or table topper, and for any season. Or just make one to enjoy all year round.
The perfect quilt to celebrate spring and Easter, for any bunny lover, and for an inviting snuggle. Adorable rabbits displayed in a quilt, will be treasured for years to come. Stitch up a bundle of blocks, they can be used for quilt projects from Spring right through to the Holidays!
The bunny is completely pieced, no appliqué with this pattern. Fat quarter friendly, find fabric that was just meant to be turned into bunnies choosing prints to make the tails textured, and anything in florals and spots. Choose sashing or not. It will add to the quilts vintage country look, but is not necessary to complete the quilt.
Use a single block to make a pillow, or put 3 bunnies in a row for a table runner.
Sew them up in Holiday fabrics for the most adorable cottontail Bunnies. Vintage Holiday by Bonnie and Camille was used for the feature pattern. Find fabrics to suit theme colors, use scraps and left overs for the blocks, and add a little pieced holly for sashing.
16 Fat Quarters are needed for the Bunnies plus some yardage for a finished Country Bunnies quilt size 61 1/2″ by 74 1/2″, designed by Margot Languedoc of The Pattern Basket.
