Make A Quilt For The Man In Your Life With Newsprint Fabric
Newsprint Fabric Makes A Great Quilt For A Man Or Young Guy.
Men who still enjoy a Sunday retreat with a newspaper and a cup of coffee on the porch might enjoy a quilt at hand. While still a little chilly why not make this quilt using newsprint fabric. If you don’t know quite what to put on a man’s quilt, this easy half square triangle quilt using checks, plaids and print might be just right. If he’s a sports fan, use the print with all the news about baseball and similar sporting interests. Young guys would probably love it too.
This quilt is great for men while still being warm and cozy. Cartoon type and even colorful prints like boats or vintage car fabrics are a favorite but a little typical these days. Deer, elk, and bear themed quilts are still nice, and a compass and star is often well liked. However, you might tend to hug the safe neutrals, and stay away from obvious female prints.
The newsprint is trendy and different and even provides an interesting read! Mixing it up with red, blue and white plaids and adding a black and aqua check fabric makes for a very manly looking quilt. The feature fabric is the newsprint.
