This simple nine patch runner designed by Sherri of A Quilting Life, can be made in two sizes and can be made to fit your table. Sweet little nine-patch blocks will be 6 1/2″ x 6 1/2″, using Moda’s candies’ 2 1/2″ squares. Easily make your runner longer by making more 9-patch blocks. Finished sizes: 12″ x 37″ or 12″ x 45″
The blocks will be framed in side set-in triangles. Sherri suggests handling the triangles as little as possible, since they have bias edges and can easily stretch. Once all triangles are sewn your runner will now be rectangular in shape, with pretty little nine patch blocks on point.
This versatile and fun table runner pattern is available for purchase for a small fee. Directions are given for two different sizes of runner so you can make the perfect size for your table top.
