Simple Hexagons Make This Merry-Go-Round Quilt
Make A Merry-Go-Round Quilt Using Hexagons In Simple Steps
Start off by making these colorful hexagon blocks. Jennifer of Hopeful Home Maker started her Merry-Go-Round quilt over two years ago. Now, finally finished. It’s a lovely quilt for all year round. To add interest, fabric with ruler print was used in some of the blocks. Quite unique!
The feature of the Merry-Go-Round quilt pattern is the zig zag edges on two ends of the quilt, that end up that way because of the hexagons.
Thereafter, its the best part… choosing the fabric for these fun hexagons. Being fairly chunky blocks, the quilt top comes together quite quickly. The border co ordinates by using the same mix and match fabric in the hexagon blocks. An added strip in the backing for interest.
I searched for the Merry – Go – Round quilt pattern and managed to find a free template download from Mc Calls Quilting.
The template is from Mc Calls Quilting and the download page may request your email address. (You may have scroll right down the list to find it)
