After a long cold winter its our favorite time of year. With ranges of purples and blues Summer On The Pond is the perfect collection to start dreaming of the summer months. This quilt reminds me of a warm summer day with a breeze softly rustling the leaves, birds chirping and insects humming. The heavy scent of flowers in the air brings me to wishing for summer.

The center of the block is made up of four triangles. Each triangle is cut from a different print, putting every print in the range on display.

Make up the flying geese units using cream for the background, piece the blocks and arrange them for the Flying Geese Units.  Stitch up the block with 4-flying geese units, a quarter square triangle center, and 4 background setting triangles. Lay out the blocks and move them around until you love the arrangement. It’s amazing how the blocks take on a different look by changing the fabric.
