| Make Dresden Plate Blocks From 5″ Charm Squares
If you have a stash of charm squares you’ve been holding onto for the perfect project, this Dresden is well suited.
A charm pack usually has 42 x 5″ squares. Cut 2 blades from each charm resulting in 80 blades. Each block uses 20 blades, and a charm pack will make 4 blocks. So that’s good yield. You can also cut 5″ squares from left over co-ordinated fabric to add.
Here’s video tutorial to make an easy Dresden plate from charm squares. The ‘Easy Dresden Plate Tool’ in the video is really neat.
