‘Tis The Season’ For An Evergreen Christmas Wall Hanging

And To Make Special Memories.

Here is a great weekend project! If you have already started your Christmas sewing, while planning your decor for holiday ambience, this traditional Christmas tree wall hanging displays beautifully on the mantle. While there are heaps of Christmas quilts and wall quilts to make, each just as pretty as the next, this pieced and applique tree has a sentimental warmth that appeals to the heart.

Use itty bitty fabric scraps and buttons for the ornaments, there is plenty here to make a holiday heirloom. The little tree comes out lovely and will be an evergreen welcome at the entrance of your home year after year. Festive Christmas holly and berries are a jolly decoration to last the season. Methods combined with simple paper piecing and fusible web applique most beginner quilters can do, won’t be excessively time consuming. A little embroidery brings the Christmas greeting to life.
