Creativity with a window wall quilt is endless. Use a fabric panel of the scene you would like to display, or choose your favorite fabric with a Christmas or winter scene. If it’s a Christmas scene, the border is really pretty in fabric with candy canes, holly or anything similar with a medium to large print.


All that is needed for the background is 1/2 yard of winter scene. The fabric used for this window quilt is called Snow Magic by Wilmington. It’s delightfully playful, and is just perfect for the Christmas Windows window panes.

The fabric is so pretty, and cutting up the blocks to place artfully place them ‘in the windows’ leaves you with childlike elation. It’s such fun. You kind of lose yourself for a while.



You’ll be cutting nine 5″ squares from the panel fabric. Here the squares are laid out to get a visual on how the pictures will appear once the window panes go in.
