Folded Fabric Star With Remnants of Strips
Get Together Folding Holiday Stars
Turn Stars into ornaments to give away to friends, family, and neighbors for Christmas. Hang on trees at Christmas time, they’re delightful hung in windows and attached to presents.
A good use for remnant strips, and even dreary fabric from a jelly roll you thought you would never use, start to shine. Select 2 1/2 inch strips from the scrap basket and start making Stars.
Fabric strips are wide enough to let small prints peak out to make the most interesting ornaments. Choose fabric to personalize a quaint gift, and to bring someone good cheer.
Using long strips make it easier to fold tuck the ends. Scraps of left over strips can be used in other projects.
To hang on the tree or in the window, tie with embroidery floss or ribbon.
