Christmas Patchwork Pillow With Christmas Wishes

Merry Christmas Patchwork Pillow Choose The Prettiest Trim.

Simple patchwork and embroidery makes this pillow shine. Use fabric scraps for most of the patchwork, and a couple 2 1/2 inch patches in snowmen, Christmas trees and Santa!  Then for the Christmas message add two strips for the sashing across the length of the pillow and embroider your favorite Christmas wish!

 

You’ll need about a fat quarter’s worth of holiday prints, and a mix and match of blenders. About 3/4 yard for the backing, sashing and something for the trim of your choice. Cotton batting and embroidery thread or floss. Stitch up this adorable pillow in an afternoon. Use the pattern for any time of year. Imagine how cute in Easter fabrics, Valentine and Fall.

The back of the pillow is envelope style, perfect to slip off and change covers for the next season or theme.

The sashing provides the placement for a message, but this is optional. If you’re not keen on embroidery, the fabric will get the Christmas message across. The pom pom trim on this Christmas pillow looks great!
