If you’re a beginner quilter jelly roll quilts are easy and rewarding. Create your own fabric design using triangle cuts of three strips sewn together, together with an additional strip of white. Piece four triangles for the most amazing block.

 

Karen Fyfe used turquoise and chocolate brown, with a little bit of mustard yellow amongst the prints is crisp against a white background. Or choose your favorite jelly roll and stitch up a unique quilt. Gather scraps and make your own jelly roll. Use left over strips. Then pair with white for a fresh new look.

Pre cuts are fun and so easy to work with, leaving the creative all to you. Of course you will have to do the sewing. Quilt using stitch in the ditch, or as a beginner, this is a great project to experiment with machine quilting a stipple pattern. See how Karens quilt here.
