Here is a great idea to change how to save scraps without getting overwhelmed, and even avoid using them altogether. Yet to begin with there’s every intention to use them all up eventually. This is a gamechanging way to sort cut offs and strips right after the quilt top is done. Then use them to make make something that actually matches the quilt, or anything scrappy.

 

However the mixed up pile becomes overwhelming. Next it’s about having to rummage through messy scraps. Find the right print, but its too thin and frayed around the edges.
