Make A Quilted Casserole Carrier Add A Matching Mitt Too!
A Must Have Quilted Casserole Carrier.
This is a pattern to hang on to. I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t use this quilted casserole carrier. Make one for yourself, but as a gift… priceless. I am still hooked on the fact that whatever I make for kitchen, I get to choose the exact colors to fit in with my kitchen decor. But that’s just one take on this amazing design.
I’m not quite sure how I found this pattern, but I had a butterfly leap when I did. Here it is:-
This particular pattern instruction is made for a standard 9″ x 13″ covered baking pan. The pattern tutorial shows you exactly how to measure and adjust the fabric to fit your size casserole pan.
This is a good idea! Make mini samples of the quilted casserole carrier from paper towels to get the sizing for your sized casserole dish.
Start with two fabrics, a solid and a print. These are just some ideas. Mix and match any fabric you like.
- 1¼ yards of 44″+ wide quilting weight cotton fabric- A print for the carrier’s exterior and pocket is great.
