Pinwheel Pincushion Are Mini-Charming

A Pincushion Pattern For Pincushions Or Jaunty Ornaments

You could whip up quite a few of these mini charm pack pincushions using any fabric you like. They’re especially fun in holiday fabric and make delightful ornaments. Choose fabric other than a holiday print and make a new pincushion for yourself, or give one or two to as a quilting gift right off the tree!

The pinwheel is so much easier than it looks with instructions to fold and stitch the pinwheel in one go. Select dark prints for the pinwheel, and lighter shades for the background of the block. Sort through scraps, buttons and trim to find combinations just waiting to be discovered.

Aren’t the North Pole holiday charms in this pincushion too cute, and if you have a ton of buttons, this is the perfect project to start using them. To use the pretty pincushion in the sewing room why not choose fabric, or scraps in happy, cheerful hues that are warm and deep to make the pinwheel pop.
